FA CUP FINAL MEGASALE!

Back by popular demand - yesterday saw Woolaballoo opening its doors at the unearthly hour of 8am to herald the start of the FA Cup Final Megasale! For the first hour all purchases were discounted by 30% with the reductions dropping by 10% per hour until our usual opening time of 10am when the discount was frozen at 10% for the rest of the day. There were some real bargains to be had including the simply gorgeous Manos de Uruguay Yarns from Artesano and some new shades of Regia sock yarn. We also unveiled our latest stock additions from Rico designs and Biggan. As always, the shop was packed to the rafters for the first hour when Knitters from across Tyneside descended on Woolaballoo. We have recently received in store a fabulous collection of Australia yarns to inspire you. The lovely ladies from Brisbane brought their extensive collection of yarn to Woolaballoo after making contact with us at the Harrogate Knitting and Stitching Show last month. Rowan Yarns now in stock!

Due to popular demand we have started to stock Rowan yarns. We have started our collection with the lovely Milk Cotton DK range which is available in 13 fabulous colourways with a fantastic pattern book to support it. We also have a limited selection of Kidsilk Haze in Stock but as always our selection is expanding daily. Do come in and ask if there is something that you specifically need for a UFO - requests are always welcome and we are always happy to special order items for our customers.

Noro Kureyon Sock Yarn

The word from the suppliers is that FINALLY the yarn in on the high seas and should be with us mid-late June. Can't wait. I'll post again when it finally lands at Woolaballoo's door... Thanks for your extreme patience.

Football Widows 17 May

A huge thank you to all of you that braved it to be up and at the store by 8am on Saturday 17 May for what proved to be a big hit with knitters across the region. We had a massive discount day with 25% of everything in store for the first hour and dropping down by 5% each hour until we reached our 10% level at 11am. It was a phenomenal success and we hope to repeat the sale again in the autumn so keep an eye out for further details...
